Groupage cargo delivery
Shipping from a single pallet — no need to wait for a full truck.
Groupage is for consignments that do not fill a truck: instead of a whole trailer you pay for the space you actually took. That space is not measured by weight alone. The carrier charges on the greater of two figures — actual weight or volumetric — and the second is often the larger. Road freight typically counts 333 kilograms to the cubic metre, air freight about 167. So a light bulky consignment costs like a heavy one.
What it covers
- We collect consignments from several suppliers at a consolidation warehouse and send them as one shipment. Most often this is groupage from China, Turkey and Korea, where one buyer has several sellers at once.
- We take from a single pallet — no waiting for a full truck to fill up.
- We price both options, groupage and a dedicated vehicle, and show where the line between them falls.
- We check compatibility: food, chemicals and anything that smells do not travel in the same compartment.
- You get a document for your part of the load, not a shared one for the whole truck.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum you take?
One pallet. Anything smaller than a pallet we do not take: courier or post is cheaper for it, and it is not our line of work.
How is the price worked out?
On the greater of two figures: actual weight or volumetric weight. That is why bulky light cargo is charged like heavy cargo.
Does groupage take longer?
Usually by a few days: the load has to be assembled before departure and broken down on arrival. We give the exact figure for your route.
What cannot go as groupage?
Dangerous goods outside a dedicated scheme, items that must not travel next to each other, and anything needing its own temperature regime. Tell us what the goods are and we will find a way.
